CONCLUSION
It is inevitable that a business will face commercial disputes from time to time, these disputes can be costly both in terms of money and time. Where a dispute arises the business should get legal advice on the strength of its position and what strategy and tactics to adopt. A briefing note provides a cost effective and quick process for the business to obtain specialist commercial law advice and by acting pro-active the business has the opportunity to save both time and money and potentially resolve the dispute whilst maintaining a working relationship with the other party.
